Award Recognizes Most Influential Among Global Pakistani Community

Yum! Brands (NYSE: YUM), the world’s largest restaurant company,
announced today that Irfan Mustafa, VP and Managing Director of the
Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan and Turkey business was recognized
with the Pakistan Power 100 Award. The prestigious honor recognizes the
highest levels of achievement from within the global Pakistani community
and positively promotes the outstanding contributions made by Pakistani
men and women on a local, national and international level.

Among many notable achievements, Mustafa’s charitable and philanthropic
efforts were particularly heralded. For several years he has been
actively involved in social and community-based projects that focus on
the development of youth, education and poverty alleviation. Mustafa is
especially passionate about reaching the Muslim youth in Pakistan, the
Middle East and the United States to steer them away from violence and
to “use their minds” to compete in the world, to co-exist with those who
have opposing values and views, and to elevate their stature as global
citizens.

million or 460 million meals in the last five years. Further, Mustafa
extensively lectures as a guest speaker in and outside of Pakistan
focusing on marketing and management lessons he’s learned through his
leadership role with Yum!. As VP and Managing Director, Mustafa is
responsible for the operations and management of Yum!’s presence in the
Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan and Turkey, which includes nearly
1,300 KFC and Pizza Hut restaurants.
The top 100 recipients out of a pool of 33,000 entrants were honored in
a gala in London on September 29.
